Changing Your TradingView Username

Update your TradingView username for algo access.

Your TradingView username connects your GFREQ subscription to your TradingView account. If you entered it incorrectly or need to switch to a different TradingView account, you can update it in the portal.

Finding Your TradingView Username

Your TradingView username is not your email address. To find it:

  • —Log into TradingView
  • —Click your profile avatar in the top right
  • —Your username is displayed under your name (e.g. @trader123)
  • —Enter it without the @ symbol in the portal

Changing Your Username

Go to Account Settings

In the portal, navigate to Account in the sidebar.

Update the Username

Clear the current username and enter the correct one. The field is case-sensitive.

Re-activate Algos

After changing your username, go to the Algos page and re-activate your strategies. Access will be revoked from the old username and granted to the new one.

Important

The username is case-sensitive. Trader123 and trader123 are different accounts. Double-check before saving.
